Winter

Today the road to work through Mozart was blanketed in a heavy fog. Liszt and then a double bass concerto played and the landscape looked straight out of a Renaissance painting. The ghostly gums were barely visible. This photo is from last year as I didn’t dare pull over when the visibility was so low (but I was tempted). There’s no real point to this story, and I’m not normally so civilised but it was a day for admiring the beauty of winter. Hope you’re all staying warm tonight.
